Season VIII (2024-2025)

YOUTH PAYMENT OF FEES: Season VIII is 36 weeks of dance instruction starting Monday September 9, 2024 – Friday June 13, 2025. Monthly tuition is $80 per class per student. Full tuition is due every month regardless of holidays and/or attendance. If you enroll mid-season we will prorate your tuition based on when you begin dancing with us. There is NO refund for missed classes as we provide a make-up schedule. You may pay the entire season in full or pay it in monthly installments. The first month’s tuition is due at the time of registration. VERSA5 will not send monthly statements. Reminders will be sent out if payment is late. Deposits and monthly tuition are non-refundable. All student accounts must have a credit card on file. This card will be used for automatic payments (with authorization) or as a means to collect payment on delinquent tuition. All payments will cease at the end of the season and students must register for a new season (Summer 2025, Season IX: September 2025-June 2026)

YOUTH REGISTRATION: A non-refundable fee of $25 per student, $40 per two students, or $50 for three students or more, is required at time of registration.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: We require a 30-day written notice via email if you need to withdraw from VERSA5. Please email [email protected] to withdraw from our 2024-2025 season. Tuition billed on the 1st of the month is not refundable. This withdrawal policy remains in effect even if we have a shelter in place mandate from the federal, state or local government. In the event of a shelter in place, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue. There may be an approximate one-week transition period from the date of the shelter in place order until virtual classes begin in order to allow us to implement our action plan. No refunds will be given for this week. Please call or email to sign up for your make-up class. Remember that a 30-day written notice will still be required for withdrawal.

YOUTH ATTENDANCE AND LATENESS: Students who come late to class may be asked to sit and watch the class. The studio reserves the right to terminate lessons for repeated lateness or if a student misses more than four classes without written notice. Make-up classes are allowed for injury or illness only and must be made up within one month in the same or lower level class. No refunds will be given. Make-ups can be made up until January 31, 2025.

CARE OF STUDENTS: The studio is not responsible for providing before or after class care of students under 18 years. Students are not to be left at the studio for excessive periods of time (more than 10 minutes) before or after their classes.

PHOTO RELEASE: The studio is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use in brochures, website, posters, advertisements, and other promotional material the studio creates. Permission is also granted for the studio to copyright such photographs in its name.

YOUTH DRESS CODE: All students must wear a cover-up to and from class. Proper dance wear is required for all classes. Students must wear comfortable form-fitting dance attire to display proper body alignment and allow for easy movement. Don’t forget to write your name in all shoes, bags, etc. You can find descriptions of the proper attire for each class with the link above. No baggy t-shirts, baggy shorts, blue jeans, no jewelry or other inappropriate attire will be allowed. Hair should always be securely pulled away from the face. Dance shoes are to be worn in the studio only and not worn outside.

RECITAL POLICIES: We produce an amazing show at the end of the season for all VERSA5 dancers. Our shows (including dress rehearsals) will be held on Saturday June 7, 2025 (Ages 3-6), Tuesday June 10, 2025 (Ages 6+), and Wednesday June 11, 2025 (Ages 6+). This is an exciting and rewarding part of the season that everyone looks forward to! We encourage all dancers to participate!

RECITAL COSTUMES: Costume costs are generally $90 per costume per class. Costume fees will be auto-drafted on December 1, 2024. After this fee is processed on December 1, it is not refundable for any reason. Any costume alterations needed will be the responsibility of the parent. If your dancer will NOT be participating, you are required to notify us by email to [email protected] no later than December 1, 2024. Please do not rely on your dancer to inform us that she or he will not be dancing in the recital!

RECITAL FEE: Each participate in recital will require a RECITAL FEE which includes a participation fee, a recital tee, a recital souvenir, and a recital video. The recital fee is $140 with the first payment of $70 due January 15, 2025 and the second payment of $70 due February 15, 2025. If you have more than one student participating, each additional student is $40 and includes their participation fee, a recital tee, and a recital souvenir. This does NOT include tickets.

RECITAL TICKETS: Tickets to our recitals will need to be purchased. Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket. More information on Show Tickets, including when they will be available to purchase, will be included in the Recital Packet after Spring Break. The ticket cost will be announced in the spring when more of the show details come out! In order to ensure all dancers have the opportunity to have their immediate family watch them dance in the show, we may limit the number of tickets each family may purchase for a designated time period. After the designated time period, if tickets are still available, we may lift the limit and open ticket sales to everyone.
