Guest Choreographer + Instructor
MADDIE SHELTON has been dancing since she was 2 years old and started choreographing when she was 16. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Purdue, she was the president of Higher Ground Dance Company which raises money for children’s dance therapy programs. Maddie has taught tap, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre at both Turning Pointe Dance Academy and West Active. She has choreographed a variety of different competition pieces for Turning Pointe, Versa5, and Noblesville High School Show Choir. Maddie has also choreographed musicals such as West Side Story, Little Mermaid, and Shrek for local community theatres. When not dancing, you can find Maddie working as a Design Engineer in the entertainment industry, hanging with her cat, or spending time with her amazing friends and family.
